I purchased this app with the promise that I could highlight passages and bookmark them as I desired. I discovered that the highlighting is not as simple as represented and they are not saved once the verse is bookmarked. I gave up and looked for another app.

First, I applaud the devs for having the heart to get Gods Word out. However, it needs a lot of work to be usable. The highlighting feature is just really difficult to use. The navigation of screens is confusing. Some of the buttons dont do what youd expect.

fix the bugs it wont let me use the app at all HELP

A very Simple yet essential Bible App. Does exactly what i need it too with highlighting and bookmarking. Perfect for my personal bible study and use in church meetings and study groups. Great addition to my app collection. Recommend.

New iPhone - New Bible for it too! Perfect using in Church and reading my daily chapter especially when I am on the go.

It does not work at all. You tap the icon to open, it opens to a blank screen and then returns to the icons.

Great bible app right here. Highlight and bookmarking features work smoothly and are perfect for making bible reading productive - just like a real bible.

I wanted this app to be able to read scipture In times of need but its hard to highlight it highlights 1 word at a time n when u search for something n you try to go back IT TAKES U BACK TO ONE OF THE TESTAMENTS REALLY NEED HELPN PLEASE FIX.. SO FAR NOT WORTH 0.99 cents thanks....:(

Sounds like a good idea but app wont load. I have at least 5 bibles on my iPod. This one is a real let down. Pls fix it

Ok I got this becuz I needed a bible app yeah first one but it dont work!!! It just says empty library why wont this work whats wrong!!!! Yeah I want my money back if an update dont come out soon! An I mean SOON!!!!!!!!

Well, I thought it was cool to be able to highlight... But it didnt WORK I was disappointed in it You can only highlight one word at a time I think my face is reddening as I write this  DO NOT BUY!

I love this app because u can bookmark it and highlight it also. The reason why I love it so much because I can use it when I go on long road trips and when I go to Church . So it is VERY useful to me.

The app works well if you just want it for reading and searching the Bible on the go. I have trouble hi-lighting or underlining text though. I was able to hi-light a verse but I couldnt undo it afterward cause I hi-lighted the wrong word. Would be nice if this was fixed. Also, it would be nice if there was a link to the Strongs Concordance for word definition. Maybe this could be an in app purchase for another .99¢ or free upgrade too!

The highlighter works perfectly when you use it correctly. After choosing your color, you must tap the first word of your selection and then tap the last word of your selection. This will highlight the entire selection for you. Hope this helps :-)
